These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NeuropathIQ Inc. governing your use of the NeuropathIQ platform and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
NeuropathIQ is an evidence intelligence platform that aggregates, normalizes, and organizes publicly available biomedical literature, clinical trial information, biomedical ontologies, and related scientific datasets into a structured evidence architecture. Artificial intelligence assists researchers by organizing, summarizing, explaining, and contextualizing that evidence while preserving links to the underlying scientific sources.
The service is provided for research and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, clinical decision support system, regulatory advisory system, or investment advisory service. Use of NeuropathIQ does not create a physician-patient, consultant, legal, investment, or other professional relationship.
"Evidence Intelligence" refers to NeuropathIQ's analytical layer, which combines structured biomedical data, evidence scoring, knowledge graphs, and AI-assisted reasoning to help researchers organize, summarize, and explore scientific evidence. Artificial intelligence is one component of the Evidence Intelligence process and is not the primary source of scientific content. NeuropathIQ's primary asset is its structured biomedical knowledge architecture; artificial intelligence serves as an assistive reasoning layer operating on that evidence rather than as the source of scientific content.
Certain normalization rules, ontologies, and evidence relationships may be refined through expert review as the platform evolves. Such review does not imply validation or endorsement of every platform output.
The service is intended for research scientists, academic researchers, neurologists and clinicians, clinical trial coordinators, pharmaceutical research professionals, and students under supervision of qualified professionals. You must be at least 18 years of age.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Each subscription plan specifies the number of authorized users. You may not share credentials or allow more simultaneous users than your plan permits.
You may use the service to search and browse neuroscience research data, explore structured evidence connections across neurological diseases, biomarkers, pathways, genes, drugs, and clinical trials for research planning purposes, share insights with colleagues in a research context, export and cite data with appropriate attribution, and integrate platform data via API (Enterprise plan only).
You may NOT use the service to:
You acknowledge that AI-assisted analyses are hypothesis-generating only and require independent verification against original scientific literature; Evidence Intelligence outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies; evidence-derived observations (displayed as trend data) are pattern observations based on the structured evidence layer, not forecasts or predictions of clinical outcomes; research pathway maps represent AI-assisted interpretation of the scientific landscape and may not reflect current expert consensus; and NeuropathIQ does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any AI-assisted analysis.
When citing information obtained through NeuropathIQ in academic publications, you must attribute the original data source (e.g., "data from PubMed/NCBI," "trial data from ClinicalTrials.gov"). NeuropathIQ's AI-assisted analyses should be attributed to "NeuropathIQ AI-assisted analysis [date accessed]" with a note that content is AI-assisted and hypothesis-generating only.
NeuropathIQ aggregates third-party public scientific data and does not guarantee the completeness, availability, or continued accuracy of those external sources. NeuropathIQ's analysis does not represent the views of PubMed/NCBI, ClinicalTrials.gov, NIH, FDA, trial sponsors, or any other data source.
NeuropathIQ displays titles, authors, abstracts (where permitted), DOIs, and links to original sources. We do not reproduce copyrighted full-text journal articles. AI-assisted analyses represent computational interpretations of publicly available scientific information and do not replace or supersede the original scientific publications. They are not reproductions of publisher-owned content.
Trial outcome descriptions use factual language only (e.g., "met primary endpoint" / "did not meet primary endpoint") and cite source trial reports. We do not make editorial judgments about trial sponsors or their products.
The NeuropathIQ platform, including its algorithms, knowledge graph structure, taxonomy, normalization methodology, and AI-assisted analysis framework, is owned by NeuropathIQ Inc. and protected by Canadian copyright law, trade secret law, and applicable international IP laws. The underlying scientific data is sourced from public domain sources subject to those sources' respective terms.
In addition to the prohibited uses in Section 6, you may not engage in: model extraction or prompt harvesting; automated benchmarking of NeuropathIQ AI systems; dataset reconstruction or knowledge graph copying; reverse engineering of normalization methods or entity resolution logic; or any systematic effort to replicate the NeuropathIQ evidence architecture.
NeuropathIQ is intended exclusively for scientific research, literature exploration, education, and hypothesis generation by qualified research professionals. It is not intended for clinical use, diagnostic use, treatment planning, regulatory submissions, or investment purposes.
Scientific knowledge evolves continuously. NeuropathIQ does not warrant that publications, biomarker interpretations, pathway models, ontology relationships, or AI-assisted analyses are complete, current, or error-free. Users are responsible for independently verifying all information against primary scientific literature before relying on it for any purpose.
Use of NeuropathIQ does not create a physician-patient, researcher-institution, consultant, legal, investment, or any other professional relationship between you and NeuropathIQ Inc. or any of its personnel.
Subscription fees are charged in advance. Payments processed by Stripe, Inc. Prices in USD; Canadian customers billed in CAD. Applicable taxes (GST/HST for Canada) added at checkout.
Refund policy: Full refund within 7 days of initial subscription. After 7 days, non-refundable but you may cancel and retain access until end of billing period.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime from Account Settings. Takes effect at end of current billing period.
You may terminate your account from Account Settings. We will retain data for 90 days before permanent deletion (subject to legal retention requirements). NeuropathIQ may suspend accounts for Terms violations or non-payment after notice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEUROPATHIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL NEUROPATHIQ'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
NEUROPATHIQ IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLINICAL, RESEARCH, INVESTMENT, OR BUSINESS DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT FROM THE PLATFORM.
You agree to indemnify NeuropathIQ and its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
We will notify you of material changes by email and platform notice at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
